Our services work best when you become a member with us. This enables you to be able to access the full range of what we offer in the most cost effective and efficient way possible.
We offer two levels of membership:
DBS membership £62.50 per year +VAT
Gold membership £125.00 per year +VAT

ONLINE TRAINING
This is training delivered virtually via interactive zoom sessions:
- Essential Awareness of Safeguarding (private training for your church or organisation only) £650 +VAT
- For groups larger than 25 people there is an additional charge of £20 per person +VAT
- For groups larger than 25 people there is an additional charge of £20 per person +VAT
- Essential Awareness of Safeguarding (per person, general, mixed audience course) £35
- New to the Designated or Deputy Safeguarding Lead role (per person, general, mixed audience course ) £80 (under review)
- Designated or Deputy Safeguarding Lead role refresher (per person, general, mixed audience course) £70 (Under review)
- “Safe& Sound’ Safeguarding Governance training (per person, general mixed, audience course) £65 (under review)
- Domestic Abuse (per person, general, mixed audience, includes an elearning module) £45
- Safer Recruitment (per person, general, mixed audience) £75
IN PERSON TRAINING
This is training delivered onsite or at one of our training events:

- ‘Safe & Sound’ Safeguarding Governance training (your church or organisation only) £450 (plus mileage) +VAT
- Essential Awareness of Safeguarding (private training for your church or organisation only ) £650 plus mileage) +VAT
POLICY WORK
- Policy review £150 +VAT
- Bespoke complete policy suite £1500 +VAT
CONSULTANCY
- Member consultation £120 per hour (pro rata) +VAT
- Our gold membership package includes an initial consultation plus 1 hour per year included
- Our gold membership package includes an initial consultation plus 1 hour per year included
- Non-Member Consultation £120 per hour + £30 non member excess fee (pro rata)+VAT
- Reflective Learning review £120.00 per hour (pro rata) + VAT
DBS CHECKS
There is a processing administration fee per DBS check of £9.38 per check +VAT
Processing fee for all DBS checks for Volunteers and paid workers £9.38 +VAT
Enhanced DBS Check for a *paid worker £49.50 reducing to £41.00 on 5th October 2026
Basic DBS Check for a volunteer or paid worker £21.50 reducing to £20 on 5th October 2026
Scottish Basic DBS Check for a *volunteer or paid worker £25.00
Digital ID checking £4.50 +VAT
Enrolment on the DBS update service per year £5.00 +VAT
Deletion of a DBS application £2.50 +VAT

CSS is not responsible for an incorrect level of DBS check being submitted by an organisation’s DBS administrator. It is the organisation’s responsibility to ensure that each application is thoroughly checked at the point of creation and during the ID‑verification stage. Failure to carry out these checks correctly may result in government charges being applied.
The government levy a charge on paid employee DBS and Basic DBS checks, we pass this charge to you.
